Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has called for justice after the younger sister of reality TV star Phyna lost a leg in an accident allegedly involving a Dangote Group truck in Auchi, Edo State.
The victim, who graduated just six days before the incident, underwent an amputation of one leg and is at risk of losing the other.
Henshaw stated that the truck driver fled the accident scene but was later apprehended after an eyewitness, identified as a lecturer, pursued and caught him.
According to her, the vehicle’s licence plate had been removed, and the truck is currently in police custody.

“She is the junior sister to @unusualphyna. Whoever owns the truck should own up. Calling on @PoliceNG @BenHundeyin to make sure justice is served,” Henshaw posted on social media.
She urged the Nigerian Police Force to ensure that those responsible for the accident are held accountable.
Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna had earlier taken to social media to call out industrialist Aliko Dangote, alleging that a truck linked to his company was responsible for the accident that injured her sister.
Phyna further accused the Dangote Group of trying to shield the people involved in the case.
The incident has also drawn the attention of social media activist VeryDarkMan, who shared a video showing the victim in critical condition and reiterated demands for justice.

Henshaw and other public figures have continued to use their platforms to put pressure on authorities to act on the matter.
The police have yet to issue a formal statement on the progress of the investigation into the alleged involvement of the Dangote Group truck.
Public interest in the case remains high, with calls for transparency and accountability from both law enforcement and the company linked to the vehicle.
